Help Bring Stories of Faith to Life

Volunteer with a Christ-centered community bringing stories of faith to life on stage.

Great theater doesn't happen by accident.

Behind every story that moves an audience, there's a team of dedicated people making it possible. When you volunteer with Deo Gloria, you become part of something bigger than a production, you become part of the community.

When you volunteer with DGPA, your time and talents become part of something eternal. It’s more than just showing up, it’s using what God gave you to point others toward Him. When you volunteer with us you can:

  • Be a part of a community of like-minded believers

  • Discover new ways to use your gifts for God's glory

  • Grow in your own faith while serving through the arts

  • Be impacted as you help impact others

You Were Made for More Than a Seat in the Audience

Bringing stories of faith to the stage takes a whole community of people, most of whom never set foot in the spotlight. Whatever your skills, we have a place for you and we'll train you to do it well:

  • Stage crew & set construction

  • Costumes & wardrobe

  • Hair & makeup

  • Lighting & sound

  • Front of house & hospitality

  • Photography & videography

  • Child wrangling

  • Administrative support

  • And so much more!

FAQs

Do I have to be artistic or creative to help?

1

Absolutely not. We need people with all kinds of skills, from building sets to managing spreadsheets. If you're organized, handy, hospitable, or just enthusiastic, there's a meaningful role here for you.

How much time do I need to commit?

2

We can work with whatever time you're able to give. Whether you can serve for a full production season or just a few hours on a show weekend, your contribution matters and we'll find a role that fits your life. No amount of time is too small, every pair of hands helps bring these stories of faith to the stage.

What ages can volunteer?

3

We welcome adult volunteers of all ages. Younger volunteers may be able to serve in certain capacities with a parent or guardian. Contact us and we'll talk through the options.

What kinds of shows will I be helping with?

4

We produce youth shows, community productions, and summer camps throughout the year. Volunteers serve across any of these depending on their availability and interests.

Do I need to pass a background check to volunteer?

5

Because the safety of our young performers is one of our highest priorities, any volunteer who will be working directly with youth is required to complete a background check and our child safety training before serving in that capacity. We know it's an extra step, but we believe the families who trust us with their kids deserve nothing less. We'll walk you through the process and make it as simple as possible, and we're grateful for your willingness to help us protect the young people in our community.
